All agencies can access five eLearning modules on Turas (login required) at www.traumatransformation.scot/knowledge-skills/skilled/:

  1. Understanding the impact of trauma and responding in a trauma informed way (1-1.5 hrs)
  2. Trauma in Children and Young People (1-1.5 hrs)
  3. Understanding the impact on mental health and evidence-based pathways to recovery (45min)
  4. Understanding the use of substances to cope with the impact of trauma (60 min)
  5. Trauma Skilled Practice in Dementia Care (2 hrs)

DGC employees can access the first 4 modules on MyLearning.


‘Transforming Connections’ is a 1-day live training course for workers to enhance their knowledge at the trauma skilled level.  All agencies can book a space via the Public Protection  multiagency training calendar: Learning and Development – Public Protection (dgppp.org.uk)
